Context
When I joined Found Energy, the company’s website focused heavily on the science behind aluminum power and early maritime applications leaving industry audiences unclear about our offerings. The content was highly technical, the visuals needed some updating, and there was a small stream of incoming inquiries with a lot of room to grow. As the company shifted its focus toward the manufacturing sector, we needed a website that communicated credibility, clarity, and commercial potential.
What I Did
I led the full website redesign from strategy through launch.
- I defined audience and positioning for investors, industry customers, partners, and the public.
- I selected and managed a design agency, directing them to bring the new brand identity to life through modern visuals, typography, and custom animations.
- I wrote all of the site copy and set the brand tone to balance technical depth with accessibility.
- I developed a new site structure, including:
- A streamlined homepage that introduced the product, applications, and vision at a glance.
- Dedicated technology pages zworks through graphics and videos aimed at manufacturing use cases.
- A thought-leadership page highlighting aluminum’s broader potential in energy systems.
- A new About page telling the founder’s story and a robust Careers page to support hiring.
- I oversaw testing and launch, ensuring design, messaging, and performance aligned with brand standards.
Results
- Full company alignment with the new brand identity through refreshed graphics, typography, and animations.
- Increased site traffic, improved lead capture, and stronger investor confidence.
- Positive feedback from stakeholders—investors noted that “Found is moving into a new era,” reflecting the company’s growth and ambition.
